Job’s Purpose

  • Plan and execute the security strategy for the subsidiary to improve Microsoft perception in the local marketplace, while improving customer and partner satisfaction.
  • Ensure that the security communications are properly configured for Russian country specific environment, taking into account relevant factors such as image and customer satisfaction data, government and regulatory environment, partner ecosystem, emerging security problems, industry organization and action etc.
  • Ensure Microsoft’s security strategy is properly communicated to different audiences, working to articulate the strategy effectively to overturn negative attitudes and perception of Microsoft in the security area.
  • Security Marketing (Product management and Internal Readiness): Positively impact subsidiary personnel knowledge of security, the security initiative, and the Trustworthy Computing initiative.
  • Help build and maintain up-to-date security strategy presentation materials customized to reflect local market knowledge and environment.

Role in Business Process

  • Results.
    • Improve Microsoft perception in the local marketplace.
    • Business relationships and interdependencies.    
    • Advises all units and segments on the delivery of consistent, well-timed messaging around security to drive NSAT and revenue of MS Sec products.
    • Impact subsidiary performance by improving customer and partner satisfaction for the assigned area.
    • Decision making.            
    • Informs CC owners on the optimal approach to the audience and determines the programs required to improve audience satisfaction.
    • Strategy and Development.        
    • Contributes to subsidiary communication  strategy.
    • Determines local, cross-subsidiary implementation.
    • Communication/Business Relationships.
    • Works with the marketing communications, CRMG, and PR/Image groups to drive Sec messaging.
    • Role has impact across the BMO and must drive integration of all programs dedicated/touching security.
  • Fiscal Responsibilities.   
    • Responsible for effective utilization of marketing spend (e.g., delivery of consistent, well-timed messages to assigned audiences).

Qualifications

  • Higher education.
  • Formal training in project management.
  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of practical experience in product marketing, audience marketing or marketing program management. 
  • Vertical experience is advantage.
